Oh, I love this! It took me a while to get into the first person, but once I got going, it worked really well for giving us Leslie's wonderfully frustrating steamroller tendencies, and her willful obliviousness, and her refusal to admit anything to herself until long after the time has passed. And I think the sense of time works very well here too, that sometimes everything is speeding along, and other times it's crawling--and it seems to crawl worst of all when she's thinking back over the worst times, especially Shauna and the Zorpies.
Out of curiosity: William and Elizabeth don't crop up a whole lot here--I know that's not really the point, but I'd love to know some of your/Leslie's other thoughts on their role in her campaign.
